MEET JEN, HEAD OF DESIGN

Jen has been with Black Pepper for just over 12 years, working to design the fabulous pieces we love. Overseeing the design department, Jen loves the energy of her beautiful team- especially the passion they share for the brand and the customer they design for.

Here’s a few more things about Jen:

1. What special things can you see around the office as Christmas is approaching?

Planning our Christmas party and getting excited about our costumes organised for fancy dress.

2. How do you celebrate the holidays?

Always with family. My parents Live in Mildura – so I often go to visit over this holiday break – this year my mum and dad are coming to visit me.

3. What will you be wearing to celebrate this year?

I always pull out my gold Santa hat for Christmas Day! What I am wearing! Chantal Top and the Liberty 7/8th pant. The V-Neck flatters my body shape with a flouncy sleeve (which is on trend) to give it a feminine touch.

4. What will you be gifting this year?

As it’s the first Christmas with my new granddaughter the gifting will be all around her – spoilt rotten! The patterned wallets are the perfect gift, with a little boxing day sale money inside!

5. What styling advice do you stand by?

Comfort, Easy care and coordinated. Always accessorise!

6. How do you celebrate the holidays?

Always with family. My parents Live in Mildura – so I often go to visit over this holiday break – this year my mum and dad are coming to visit me.

7. Do you have a favourite piece from the latest collection?

The red styles from our Platinum collection. They really emphasise shimmer and foil printing- which is on trend and adds sparkle. I love gold and silver shimmer.

8. What makes the Black Pepper lady so fabulous?

I would say her loyalty and passion for adventure. She just knows what she wants and what suits her body shape –

However sometimes you can actually surprise her and get her to try something that’s out of her comfort zone or a colour she’s never worn – and she loves it!
